Common questions about our fob copying service
How much does a key fob copy cost?
A standard 125 kHz fob or card, or an iButton key, is 700 Kč. An encrypted 13.56 MHz MIFARE fob or card is 1 300 Kč. Additional copies of the same original in the same visit are 400 Kč and 800 Kč. If your fob cannot be copied, or the copy does not open your door, you pay nothing.

Most copies take under 10 minutes. You book a slot, so there is no queue, and we confirm from your photo beforehand that the fob is a type we can copy.
What types of fobs and cards can you copy?
Three families. Unencrypted 125 kHz proximity fobs and cards: EM4100/4200, HID ProxKey and ProxCard, Paxton, AWID, Keri, IoProx, Indala and most generic blue or black fobs. Encrypted 13.56 MHz: MIFARE Classic 1K and 4K, and other Classic-based systems. Contact keys: iButton / Dallas (DS1990 family). Brand names on the housing do not always tell you the chip inside — the photo does, which is why we ask for one.
What can you not copy?
Systems designed to resist cloning: MIFARE DESFire, MIFARE Plus in SL3, HID iCLASS SE and Seos, LEGIC Advant, and some SALTO installations. Rolling-code car keys and garage remotes are not RFID fobs and we do not handle them. If the photo shows one of these, we tell you before you book.
Is it legal to copy my building fob?
Yes. The fob is your property, issued to you for access you are entitled to, and there is no Czech regulation restricting the duplication of access chips — the same as cutting a spare key. We copy fobs for the person who holds them; we do not copy from photos or serial numbers alone.
Will the building or landlord know it is a copy?
No. The copy carries the same identifier as your original, so the reader sees the same fob. Nothing changes in the building system and no new fob needs to be registered.
Do you guarantee the copy?
Yes. Every copy is tested against your original on our reader before you leave. If it still does not open your door, come back and we remake it or refund it in full.
Are you a locksmith? Do you cut metal keys?
No. We are an RFID specialist and copy electronic access fobs and cards only. For metal keys, cylinders or lockouts, any zámečnictví in Prague 3 will help.
What happens to my photo and fob data?
The photo you upload is used only to check compatibility and is deleted automatically after a set retention period. We do not keep a database of fob identifiers.
